AnalogueTrash - 3rd birthday party

Friday 4th May 2012
8pm to 1:30am*
Antwerp Mansion, Rusholme Grove, Curry Mile, M14 5AG

After the success of our Contiguity special event we thought we'd do something a little different for the first of our new quarterly 'trash parties. We've teamed up with the unique venue of Antwerp Mansion, just outside Central Manchester to bring you a 'trash party with a difference. On top of that, 'trash will be reaching it's third birthday in the month of June and, while it's a little early we thought this would be the perfect time and opportunity to celebrate.

*We're still waiting on confirmation of an extended opening licence for this event. It'll very likely be running later, but we won't advertise it until it's 100% confirmed.

V2A

(Live Manchester Debut!)

V2A is a industrial/electro project founded by Kevin Stewart (304) and Ines Lehmann (316) in 2001.

From their 2002 debut shows in Essen (Germany) and at the prestigious Wave Gotik Treffen festival that year, V2A have continued to dominate dancefloors across Europe and beyond. In 2011 they played high profile shows at CyberSonik festival (London), Cyberia (Holland), Infest 2011 and many more including a live performance for the BBC (!). With their new album Machine Corps making big waves on the European electronic music circuit and beyond, V2A are showing no signs of stopping in 2012 and we're pleased as big pleased things to have them at 'trash.

Expect pounding electronic beats, harsh vocals and an energetic stage show that is guaranteed to make you move.

Venue & Logistics

The Antwerp Mansion is one of Manchester's best new venues. It's a volunteer orientated renovation project based in Rusholme and is a live music venue, creative hub, gallery, rehearsal space, bar and many more things to many more people.

A big 'trash party in a massive, renovated mansion house that's a live music venue? Yes please. You can see more of the venue here on YouTube.

Antwerp Mansion is accessible from Wilmslow Road in the Curry Mile and is about 10-15 minutes on bus from Piccadilly Gardens.

On public transport, the 41, 42, 43, 142 or any bus going to Rusholme will take you there. Get off at the stop at the end of the Curry Mile (next to the Fingland's garage) and walk back into The Curry Mile.

You'll see Rusholme Grove on your right. Look down there and you'll see a big wooden fence on your left with a gate. You'll also see one of Team AnalogueTrash outside who, by this point will probably be waving at you frantically. Welcome to Antwerp Mansion!

For cheap Manchester City Centre accommodation we recommend Hatters Hostels which are just off Picadilly Gardens.

We're hoping to be running a similar 'trash party at least once a quarter, so keep your eyes peeled for further events!
